I recently visited La Cantina del Pueblo and had a great experience! The cocktails were on point and reasonably priced - a definite highlight. The guacamole was delicious, although it could've used a bit more salt to bring out the flavors. The ambiance of the place is lovely, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a night out with friends or a casual dinner. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure everything ran smoothly. Overall, I'd definitely recommend La Cantina del Pueblo for a fun and tasty meal. Just maybe ask for a pinch of salt with your guacamole!

The staff is friendly and attentive. When i was unsure of what to order, the waiter was happy to give me a few recommendations based of my preference. They always checked up on to see if we were being taken care off. Even when it’s busy, the service was good. The atmosphere has a nice vibe going out through out the restaurant and the graffiti gives it a nice touch to the ambience. Took one of friends who is mexican and gave an approval. Definitely worth trying out.

Five stars all around. Recommended to me by my Mexican amigo who said "it is his favorite Mexican restaurant in Toronto,and makes him feel at home". Food: Quesabirria quesadilla - the king of the show. These were to die for and a must have if you visit. The flavor was explosive and absolutely delicious to the last bite. Chicken tinga tacos- good flavor profile that went good with the table salsas Carne asada tacos - these were my favorite of the tacos with good flavor that went very well with the lime and salsas on the table. Chicken Dorado tacos - these were delicious and come in a bigger portion than the regular tacos and they have a good crunch that you'll be going back for. Drinks Bulldog margarita delicious mango frozen margaritas with a hint of spice and topped with a coronita Moscow mule was well made and delicious as ordered The atmosphere was excellent there was good latin music playing while we arrived and by the time we were eating an artist was singing live and walking around the restaurant and interacting with the guests. He made us feel good and welcome and our toddler was enjoying the show. Last but definitely not least the service. KATHERINE was our server and she was friendly,helpful and on point with everything, she was able to speak English and Spanish and she made great recommendations. She swung by the table a couple of times to make sure everything was going great and we felt like nothing was ever missing. This 5 star review was very well deserved and I hope it helps anyone reading it to make the smart choice of visiting this establishment and supporting a wonderful little restaurant.

Came for spur of the moment lunch, only thing interesting close by. Amazing Flavour and service, I'm not one that enjoys spicy food but this food had a very enjoyable consistent burn (hypocritical I know). Food was fresh, prepared much better than many other more expensive restaurants that claim authenticity, great value for what you get compared to other restaurants, drinks are mixed very well. This place is huge, you would never know from looking at it outside, they have dancing at night which I will be coming back to check it out. La Tampiqueña estaba muy muy deliciosa. Se quieres comida rica, vengas aquí!!!

This is a nice cozy spot for anyone who loves Mexican food! Loved the ambience and the graffiti inside was just so cool ! The food was amazing and the drinks made to perfection. Only thing we struggled was the menu was in Spanish and didn’t have English version we had to look up the menu using google translate, would be helpful if you guys make a Menu in English as well .

The food and atmosphere were great. We ordered the chicken tinga tacos and the barbacoa adobada. The decor inside included black lights and beautiful murals on the walls. The service was very friendly, however it a bit slow. Overall I would go again.
